No Reagan On Rushmore!

Recently I read an article about an effort to place an image of Ronald Reagan on Mount Rushmore. What a lousy idea! Reagan has been mythologized by the neo-cons and Republican candidates regularly invoke his name but Reagan was a really a failure as President and we are still suffering from policies he initiated such as the busting up of PATCO, the air traffic control union, his outrageous deficit building spending, his tax policies which set us on the road to the wide income disparities we now see in our country and his bumbling foreign policies which have especially hurt us in Latin America even to this day.
Reagan in no way belongs in the pantheon of Presidents represented in that famous landmark.
