Exxon Rakes In Record Profits!

While government big wigs argue as to whether or not we are entering a recession, or already in one, something was in the news today that should make everyone who is struggling to make ends meet very happy. Like death and taxes one thing is certain, even in the midst of uncertain economic times, Exxon always makes a profit, and once again a record profit!
Exxon announced a record profit for the last quarter of last year and for the entire year itself. The staggering amounts were $40.6 billion for the year of 2007 and $11.7billion for the final quarter!
These were record amounts for any U.S. company in history!
