Deja Vu All Over Again!

In the state of the union address the other day President G. W. Bush said something like "This is not the war we want to fight but it's the war we have to fight."

Hmmm...that sounds vaguely familiar, rather Rumsfeldian, I would say.

He also revived another old G.W. chestnut when he assailed Congressional and other critics of his "new war plan." He said "I'm the decision maker." Didn't he recently blow off all of his critics with a haughty phrase? "I'm the decider!" he said.

Yep, it's Deja Vu all over again! My apologies to Yogi Berra!

Cheney also got into the act in his recent, acerbic interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer. Leave it to Dick to put an ugly face on the administration policy. I don't think Wolf should accept any hunting invitations with the Vice President!
