Romney just concluded his European trip in which he clearly demonstrated his total inability to practice diplomacy. From London, to Jerusalem he managed to create a stir, insulting the Brits, the Palestinians and making some questionable comments about Poland.

It is extremely ironic for  Romney to praise Poland as a place where small government ideas took place. What the hell is he talking about? It seems he is unaware that Poland has a national health care plan and that the Lech Walesea led Solidarity Movement began as a labor union at the shipyard where he worked. Solidarity went on strike and their movement spread, eventually gaining wide support and independence from the Soviet Union.

President Ronald Reagan strongly supported Solidarity while at the very same moment he was crushing the strike in the United States by PATCO, the Professional Air Traffic Controllers Organization. This is a bit of irony that seems lost on Reagan and Romney supporters.
