Joe Lieberman, Health Reform Foe

Joe Lieberman, the independent senator from Connecticut, who once was a Democrat, but left the party and declared himself an independent, though he still continued to caucus with and vote with the Democrats, most of the time, except when he hung with the Republicans on some issues, such as health care reform, is once again flummoxing Senate Democrats with his ever changing positions on the health care bill.
Now Lieberman is firmly against the health care bill and staunchly protecting the health insurance companies. Should that surprise anyone. Lieberman is from Connecticut, the same place as Hartford Insurance.
