Downward Spiral

Some say we are on a downward spiral. Citing the many problems of our times they wring their hands and see no hope or optimism.
I don't agree. Ever the eternal optimist, I say it is the best time in history to be alive and the future is full of hope. To quote former President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, "The only thing to fear is fear itself."
