Putting The Squeeze On The Middle Class

Bush economic policies have put the squeeze on the middle class. His war and his tax cuts for the wealthy have put the government in a worsening monetary shortfall. And the money spent on the war is not even counted when the budget figures are drawn up so we don't even have an offical accounting of our huge deficit in spending.
And Bush seems not to realize that many Americans exist on bare stipends from Social Security, many live in poverty and squalor. He thinks the poverty line is around $100,000 a year! He has cut food stamp programs and plans to cut social security
disbursements in 2009.
Thank goodness our long national nightmare is going to come to an end, but we have a year to go! Aaaaarghh!!!
