Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee won the GOP portion of the Iowa caucuses yesterday. This came as a shock to Mitt Romney and many in the so-called Republican Establishment. Though Romney far outspent Huckabee he trailed far behind in the totals.
The "Aw shucks" candidate, Ole Huckabuck,connected with Republicans as a more genuine candidate than the too-perfect, styled and pressed Romney. Not bad for a guy who believes the earth was created in six days around six thousand years ago by the spirit in the sky.
