Toll Roads Gaining Traction With Texas Politicians...Not Public!
Lately there have been more and more stories in Texas media outlets about the coming of toll roads on a large scale in Texas. They cite, correctly, the failing condition of roadways in the state.
Local and state politians and their allies in the media have an idea. Their answer? Toll Roads to pay for road improvement and new roadways. The politicos always find the solution by digging deeper into the pockets of the taxpayers and in this case to visitors to the state as well.
The public is not yet convinced.

These are not conventional toll roads, they are shifting freeways to toll ways.
